Flanagan Concrete Limited was incorporated in January 1986, registered at Feighcullen, Rathangan. Today the business works a site of around 31 hectares at Glenaree, a few minutes outside the village.

Sand and gravel is dug from the pit, then washed, crushed and screened on site. Two concrete batching plants turn it into ready-mix, and the block yard turns it into concrete blocks. Loads go out in Flanagan's own yellow-and-green mixer trucks.
